A HUB for small businesses is thriving just two years after opening.
MP John Healey was invited to Dearne Valley Business Centre in Wath to hear about its success and future plans.
He visited the centre in 2017 when it took on its first tenant. Now it is nearly full, with nine tenants and is looking to expand.
John said: “I was really pleased to come back to Dearne Valley Business Centre, and to meet the local entrepreneurs who have made it their home.
“A special place has been created here. It’s not just a space to work, it’s a family of small firms – somewhere they get support and help each other to grow.
“It’s great to see the centre doing so well and I look forward to its continued success.”
Centre owner Stephen Hollings said: “It was great to have John revisit the centre two years after we opened it. He was able to see first-hand the business community created and the earning and growing environment.
“The Dearne Valley Business Centre is the first centre under the MY HEAD OFFICE brand aimed at businesses that have outgrown their kitchen tables or who are recruiting their first employee.
“Coaching, mentoring and support is offered to the tenants to help them grow their businesses.”
The centre houses businesses working in IT, HR, marketing, green energy, insurance and building.
Two businesses have already outgrown the centre and moved on to larger premises in Wath.
