In September, we had the fantastic news that Conisbrough and Denaby had been awarded £20 million of long-term funding over the next ten years through Labour’s Pride in Place programme.

We are moving to the next stage of the programme, as recruitment has now started for an Independent Chair to lead the new Conisbrough North Neighbourhood Board. The recruitment process is being led by City of Doncaster Council.

The Chair will act as a champion for the place, providing strategic leadership and ensuring that the Neighbourhood Board is genuinely community-led, inclusive, and firmly rooted in the local area.

We are looking for someone who:

⭐ Lives or works locally

⭐ Has strong connections to Conisbrough North

⭐ Has a demonstrable commitment to the area

The Personal Statement should showcase how you meet the criteria for the role specifically relating to the Role Overview and Person Specification through your personal qualities, skills and experience and include your motivation for applying to the post. Personal statements should be no more than 1000 words.
