MP BACKS ACTION-PACKED SUMMER CAMPS

TEENAGERS in Rotherham have no need to be bored this summer, says local MP John Healey.

He’s backing two summer camps in August which promise a week of adventure, fun and games.

More than 40 activities are on offer at the Pops Summer Camp, from face painting and circus skills to rafting and caving.

The camps, which run 16-20 and 23-27 August, are aimed at 11-16 year olds and many families could be entitled to claim free or subsidised places.

Pops Summer Camp is a not-for-profit company and Mr Healey is one of the directors.

He said: “This is a chance for an action-packed summer holiday I’m sure all teenagers would enjoy. There will be activities to suit everyone including team games, sports, extreme adventures and discos.”

For more information phone 0844 740 740 1 or visit www.pops-summercamp.co.uk.

The closing date is 1 August.
