John Healey MP has welcomed Yorkshire Forward’s announcement to invest up to £1 million recovery funding to help businesses in Yorkshire that have been affected by flooding. He said:
 
"I have discussed with Yorkshire Forward their plans to assist small and larger businesses to recover from the devastation caused by this week's unprecedented weather.
 
"This additional financial support will be vital to many businesses who have been affected to help them continue to operate.
 
"I will be visiting a number of local businesses to see the damage myself and to ensure they are aware of the support which is available to them."
